The UNC Charlotte Awards for Teaching Excellence are two of the most important and prestigious traditions at UNC Charlotte.  These awards honor outstanding teachers on our campus and provide an example of the University’s commitment to excellence in teaching.

In 2025, the name of the Bank of America Award was changed to the UNC Charlotte Award for Teaching Excellence (tenured faculty)
